Only if they were purchased 20 years ago! I haven't seen a multipurpose scanner-printer with an RJ-11 port in many years.
Like most have already said, fax is still used for financial and legal stuff, although less and less each year. Email is not secure, encrypting .pdf attachments is a PITA, and folks don't like the virus potential of encrypted .zip files.
I pay for fax capability on my Ring Central service, for my small business, although haven't used it even once that I can remember, in the last two years. It works by uploading and downloading doc's from their servers, they email me a link to download a doc when it's received, and you need credentials to log in and download the doc. All pretty secure.
If sending anything financial, I'd look for a service like that, that you can pay to have a secure account. Otherwise, any notary should have a fax, and probably charges just a few dollars per item. Likewise for any small auto tags business.
