How Do I Stop That Beeping Noise

I recently bought an L45 and discovered it has a back up beeper as standard equipment.I live in the country but there are neighbors near who may become annoyed listening to the beeper,I probably would.The beeper is a safety feature but I don't feel it is necessary for my situation,I won't be using it on a construction site.The noise is coming from a box under the left floor near the rear tire.The box is a sealed unit with a large electrical plug.Unplugging the plug prevents the tractor from starting.I don't see a fuse for the beeper or a switch near the foot pedal.It seems Kubota has made it hard to unhook the beeper.Has anyone ever disabled the back up beeper on an L45,or any other Kubota that has one.I am pretty sure the M59 has the same setup.

The plug has about twenty wires,I didn't count them,so I need to know which one is for the beeper.As I said,I think the box may be computer so I really don't want to damage it, which could get expensive.

The buzzer is listed in the L45 parts on Kubota.com parts. If the thing is not expensive, you could order another one and gut it. Or get a better understanding of the set up. I wonder if your local dealer would have one in stock that you could look at.
The last three tractors that I was assigned to had backup beepers on them. Hated the sorry things. You could break one wire and it would not function again. But yours is set up different.

Your dealer may be able to show you a pin out diagram for the connector. That would tell you what wire to cut.

If it was sealed, you could not hear it. Can you post a picture?

Backup beepers are usually mounted at the back, I put a piece of foam rubber over mine, can't hear it in the cab, or 1/4 mile away. But anyone close enough to be run over can hear it. :thumbsup:

It certainly seems to be coming from inside the box.The box is hard plastic on five sides with a shiny black rubber coating on the back.The sound is able to be heard no problem.I will get a picture of it later.
