yep.. pull lines iff needed, lift arms, clamp some angle tot he puiston,

heck.. put a hot battery in it and use the starter to load on the trailer.. :) as long as it is not an sos, or has drivetrain issues. BTDT easier than a winch...

^^ good advice. A couple of split pipes and some hose clamps would keep that loader up until you get it where you want it.

Yep! Every FEL should have one (or more of different lengths for different situations) to provide a positive stop for the loader arms. Just be aware that you have to be careful the pipe ends don't push against the end wiper seals or they will be damaged. The oil seals are deeper in and are safe but those wiper seals aren't.

that's why I like angle iron. the profile usually lets it rest against the gland nut instead of the wipe.

I also use angle iron tied to the rod when working under the loader. In fact, the dealer gave me the piece of angle iron they used on one of Old Stoney's trips to the ER.
If I were going to transport it that way, or with split pipe, I'd put something (rags, oil blanket, inner tube rubber, etc.) between the iron and the rod to keep the vibration and bounce fom scratching the chrome.
Good luck, Wm

I don't think I'd transport it with the laoder up. I'd drop it, then re-jigger it up for unload. dot really likes for implements to be on the deck and not suspended.. loaders included.

I know it would be 'transport locked'.. but why take the risk.
