How do those Mahindras hold up after a few years of use?
Are they fairly easy to get parts for?
Are there any of you who have owned a Kubota and a Mahindra, and how did they compare as far as handling, power and operating?

They seem to like them in India.

Attached is enlarged detail I made from Indian currency. The engraving includes a Mahindra.

I have the 2015 HST with fel, now 36 hours, made in Japan by Mitsubishi and it is a great little tractor, I was just talking to my dealer a few days ago and he said at their last dealer meeting They were told that Mahindra is now the largest selling tractor in the world..100,000 plus salesper year and within 8 years they will be bigger than JohnDeere in this country if their plans go right.. They must be doing something right...Their website is an eyeopener.. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif John

I've only had mine 1 year with around 200 hours on it. It is in the shop right now having some minor repairs done. 1.) PTO solenoid replacement. 2.) Parking brake being fixed. 3.) Rubber gromets on the hood. 4.) FEL bucket tilt is drifting down with a load.
For me, the test of longevity won't even begin until around 800 hours. Around 1,000 hours, if it is holding up real good, I'll say that they hold up well after a few years. Until then the jury is out. For folks that have 30something hours and say "no problems", I say "I would surely hope not, 30 hours on a tractor is like maybe 1500 miles on a automobile??" If you bought a new truck and have 1,500 miles on it, I wouldn't go around saying that it is holding up well. Maybe someone here will post a reply that has a couple thousand hours on their Mahindra. I'd like to hear from them for sure. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The question is which Mahindra? The technology keeps changing. The models keep changing. Newer model Mahindra vs. older model Mahindra?

Could you be a little more specific?

Well maybe the newer Mahindra models. I've been looking at the web site and I like the C-35.

265 hours, some problems that I've whined about before, but all have been fixed. Not at all happy with my dealer but I like the tractor better as time goes by. Maybe just a little underpowered. Parts availability has not been an issue. Check back about this time next year and I'll tell you what I think after 600 hours!

Sounds good to me. I will probably check out a C-35 Mahindra.
The 53 Ford Jubilee doesn't need to prove anything, those tractors already have.

Thanks,
Smitty
