right, in every car i've ever owned, that works. with this stereo, problem is that as soon as i start to try to change time, stereo turns back on.
dealer is stumped too - i'll try removing power to the stereo to reset it as suggested earlier - that often works wonders for all sorts of electronic devices....
Figured it out: problem with the display button on my radio.
If I press the middle of the display button, it will change the display mode, but no matter how long I hold it down, the radio won't enter time set mode.
Pressing on the right edge of the button does trigger time set mode. I suspect the key cap (the part you actually press) isn't quite aligned with the mechanical button underneath it.
