I use to fuel jets, too. Never had a problem getting the smell out with the washing machine and normal laundry detergent. But I'd never wash those clothes with my wife's clothes, just in case. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
As for getting it off your hands, GoJo orange hand cleaner works really well for just about everything. Use it on your hands a few minutes before you put any water on them. Get it at your auto store.
