What time do you plan on eating. I'm working til 6:30 pm (eastern), I'm hoping that we can have coinciding grilling going on:thumbsup:

Mark

Hey Mark. RT's right. I figure to start grillin' around 2pm, but it will depend on how hungry people are. I've got lot's of german sausage I may grill up earlier so we may do the steaks later. Gunna play it by ear.

Cyril

Good news....I was afraid I would not be able to attend with the family but my cousin Buba Boy has agreed to let us use this ole school bus he got his hands on - it seats 48 which is so lucky 'cause we got just that many in the family...there is Billy Sue, Little Bobby, Big Gert, Uncle Shorty, Uncle Lefty, Cousin Jimbo, Bert and Sue Ann, they are cousins, Mama & Papa, the wife's folks can come too..cousin Mary Lynn, Marcy Sue, Debbie Lou and Cousin Henry Too....there are more but I will introduce them all to you when we get there..We are drivin staight thru from Georgia...Ma brought a whole basket of Fried Chicken and a jug of Sweet Tea so we won't have to stop along the way...except maybe for a walk in the woods ..if you know what I mean...Any way we will see Y'all soon...Lookin' forward to those steaks and we are bringing some chitlins and some deer jerky we have left over and what is left of the fied chicken and lemonaide...

Got to go now and gas up the bus....See ya soon.

Well, I had my wife Merry Jo come read your post and she got a good chuckle. She said we'll need to get her cousins Billy Jo & Bobby Jo from Alaska to come down too. These are everyones real names BTW.

Cyril, it looks like you are on top of the preparation thing. Good luck and enjoy the day. BTW: I have a Big Easy Charbroil Grill just like yours. I rebuilt the burners in it last year and put on a new lighter. It works like a new one. I keep it under the front deck on my house and my Weber Genesis on the deck on the East side of my house. You never know when you're gonna need to grill and it's always nice to have one in the shade.:)

Thanks Jim. The silver one is ours and the black one is moms. We grill almost every night as our oven died a couple of months back and I haven't had the money to replace it yet.:ashamed:

Well the picnic is at T minus 2-1/4 hours. I guess I better get ready to head to the farm. Still have to find steaks to setup for horseshoes... or shall we call it cowshoes for today?:D

BTW, I'm taking the good camera with me. No poor cell pix today.:thumbsup:
