How do you plumb a natural gas/ propane combo generator.

/ How do you plumb a natural gas/ propane combo generator. #11
So I got what was a previously seized up house backup generator for free. It痴 not seized up anymore but it was previously natural gas powered. I suppose I could go to the mower junkyard and get a gasoline carburetor but propane would be easier. It says it runs on either but there痴 no instructions. It has a regulator on the generator but a propane bottle has a lot higher pressure than natural gas does. Do I need another regulator for the propane bottle or just a hose to hook the bottle to the regulator? View attachment 601848View attachment 601849
Normally, regulator and jetting. This will not run well off of a 20lb (bbq grill size) tank. Not enough headspace to turn liquid into gas before freezing (too much demand) and it would only run about 3 hours (4 gallons in tank, ~.75 gph demand)
Take a look here and see if the differences are in the manual.
