How do you store your Mid Mount Mower Deck for the winter?

It depends upon how much room you can afford to dedicate to storing that particular device. I've got lots, so I just park my implements on pallets. Many places that get deliveries on pallets are often glad just to give them away, rather than being bothered with disposal. So what if they're a little busted up? Take several; cannibalize from some - to rebuild the other(s)

Welcome to TBN dwk121!!!

I thought about that idea a couple years ago. I can't lift mine by hand and thought it would be too much hassle to squirm the tractor/FEL around in the shop to hang it. Maybe with a Cherry Picker??

Only thing wrong with that picture is your deck is WAYYYYY too new!!! :)

Front bucket hooks and Rachet straps worked good. I only have a bx1870 so not to big to move around in the garage. 24'x32'.

I like to place mine on an old rolling cart under the shed. Keep almost all of my implements under there for the winter. Hopefully this coming summer I'll get a shed addition built onto the barn with a concrete floor. At that point, I'll do off season storage on end.

I've been using Larry's Mower Axles for about 9 winters now.

I simply stand up my 54C deck and lean it against the wall. I have small chains with one end bolted to a wall stud. I attach the chains to the upper portion of the deck so IF it ever did begin to fall, it would only move a few inches and stop.

Good idea with the chains. I know my clumsy self. I'd walk past it and knock it over on me.... ;)

I use a rope and pulley system to hang and help pick it up and for the cub cadet deck I just used a rope and screwed it into the wall. The pics are not the best as it was 13F in the garage and it takes the lights a while to warm up
