How do you transport your tractor & batwing bush hog?

Just an update:
Found a nice deal on a 30' 20K dual tandem. Looks real good in pictures and is reasonable driving distance. Empty weight is 6750, leaving me a 13,250 payload. Not really enough, but......
I really want a 24K, but they are reall tough to find used.

depending on truck capability, figure 1000 to 1500 of that weight can be pin weight on the truck.. so you might have a hair more payload capability than you have listed, again.. depending on the truck hauling it.

Gooseneck hitch on F-550 gives me 5,000lbs max pin weight. I combo tagged it for the max I could-33,000lbs.

Dont know what actual weight will be when trailer is hooked up & load is moved on it.
Judging by what Hawk and some of the other guys posted here, if they are hauling similar rigs to mine with 1-ton duallies, I shouldn't have any PIN issues.....
More worried about overloading trailer axles and the truck itself.
It's throwing codes all over the place. I think I got a bad 6.4L . :(

Don't know, haven't had them read yet by Ford service, but the bad part is the information center reads "reduced power". Truck definately reduces power to protect itself.
Worried it's gonna happen while towing trailer.

Seems to have something to do with pushing the truck hard. When I get on it hard, it sets the code and cuts power.
Headed to servicing dealer as we type.

I just found out it needs a new T-stat and new upper rad hose. Most is covered under warranty. Will be done by tomorrow morning.
The mechanics there have told me their opinions on the 6.4L: either extend the warranty or consider trading to another truck.

BELIEVE ME....if I could I would. I couldn't find a 5500 4x4 with the packages I needed nearly as cheap as the Ford.

Hopefully after this t-stat gets changed and the other things I've done, it'll be more reliable.
