How do you warm your hydraulics

/ How do you warm your hydraulics #11
Keep your machine out of the wind if possible, letting the machine idle ( 13 to 14 rpm) will circulate the hydro fluid, warming it up as it does. take it slow from there to start off.
Don't forget, a block heater also keep the oil (engine) warm in the valleys of the block as well as the water, the longer you leave it plugged in, the better. IMO
Winter temps are hard on a machine no matter what you do, it's when most breakdowns occur,
other than a heated garage, every little bit helps.

Good point--keep it out of the wind when warming up.
Also, I sometimes put a piece of cardboard to cover the radiator and make it warm up quicker. Kubotas take forever to warm up when it's cold.

If it's real cold and I have to do a backhoe job I lift the wheels off the ground with the loader and stabilizers & put it in 4wd & in gear for 15 mins. or so ( motor has been plugged in) then head down the driveway slowly it's down hill and by the time I get to the rd. everything is warm enough to head for the job. Start digging slowly at 1200 rpm until the h oil is warmed a bit in the cylinders 5 mins or so then get at it.
