How dry I am.!?.!?

We have a 100% chance of rain tomorrow from the hurricane. I have not seen chances that high since last spring. We got a good shower Tuesday, the 1st rain in 4 weeks. July was cloudy and cooler than normal, but we paid for it in August 13 days in a row over 100. Broke a record from the 50's. It was 97 here Monday. I messed up last week and cut 5 acres with no dust mask. 2 trips to the Doctor this week and been out of work. You know its dry when your grass is crunchy. JC

They are reporting 90% chance today and 90% chance tonight with a total of near an inch.

But looking at the radar I think they got it wrong. As has been the case lately, the first 'feeder' bands broke south of here and now the bulk of the storm appears to be breaking north of here on the radar. We clearly have got some sort of cosmic magical umbrella going on here.

I seem to be getting a good portion of that rain

. Considering we have not had but one 5 min shower since the first of July this is much needed. Western NC seems to be getting the majority of the rain as far as NC goes.

This is good for my building site as it has been like walking in flour, the ground is so dry a foot step causes a small mushroom cloud of dust!

I hope you get some the rain later today.
