How far to the nearest grocery store?

Just curious as to who really lives in the country. How far to your nearest grocery store, fast food restaurant, or <gasp> Wal-Mart?

14.8 miles to the closest grocery store. 19.2 to the preferred grocer. Wal-Mart relocated from 15 miles away to 21. But on the upside, TSC built a store next to where the old Wally World was! :thumbsup:

12 miles for us to Grocery, Wal Mart and shopping mall.....convenience store only 5 miles...WE are in the country.

About 6 miles to everything for my area.

About 8 miles to a grocery, both for my home in SC (subdivision) and my farm in NC.

11 miles to grocery, 12 walmart.

For the 8 years we lived in Navarro County, the nearest supermarkets and Walmarts were both 20 miles east and 25 miles west of us. The restaurants were about the same.

And now we have a Walmart and another supoermarket (Albertson's) in barely over 2 miles from the house; 3 Walmarts, 3 Kroger's, 2 Albertson's, and every kind of fast food place and sit down restaurant imaginable within 10 miles.:laughing:

15 miles to giant eagle 12 miles to tsc.

Most of what I need is within 12 miles, if we want to shop around, or have more variety then 25 miles.

It is 22 miles to the nearest town. The town has a Wal*Mart and smaller grocery stores. There is nothing ... zero ... in between except homes and farms.

10 miles to the nearest grocery chain-Food Lion. 18 miles to Walmart. We have a "Country Store" about a mile from our place.
