How high is your gasoline in your town?

Converting litres to US gallons and Canadian dollars to US dollars, we are at $3.22/gallon for regular gasoline and $2.38/gallon for diesel.

Diesel has always been a fair bit cheaper than gas around here (except for a little while last year). Time to get a Smart car - 70ish mpg on diesel and way cool.

Average here in New Orleans is $2.55 a gallon for regular. Diesel is around $2.60-$2.65 per gallon. I have seen diesel as high as $2.80.

Same here. Alberta's biggest industry is oil/gas. The stuff is almost running down the streets. There are refineries everywhere. You'd think we'd be paying less than anyone but it seems that pump prices have nothing to do with where it's made or how far it has to be shipped. Just how much profit the oil companies think they can squeeze out of us ...

/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif People who live in Detroit pay about the same price for a GM car or truck as I do. People in Marysville, OH pay about what I do for a Honda. Shipping isn't a large percentage of the price of either product.

$2.68 for "87"; $2.71 for diesel.... as of last night.

No doubt the "huge summer driving demand" will hit everyone up for another 10-20% ASAP....

There should be a glut of diesel & heating oil on the market right now given the generally mild winter/lack of plowing/lower heating demand... I hope we're not "enjoying the overflow" at the moment... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I filled up at Walmart yesterday morning at $2.599, had a 300 mile round trip to make this morning, and this afternoon filled up at the same place at $2.659. The cheapest I saw on the trip was $2.569 and the highest was $2.759.

There should be a glut of diesel & heating oil on the market right now 

I bought diesel last friday for $2.63. I guy told me yesterday that his mom had had to buy heating oil last week and she paid $1.50. Our fuel oil driver said that heating oil is the same as diesel. I am going to go and read the threads about diesel and heating oil. I may tap my heating oil tank for my tractor. I got it a month ago so it is fresh and I paid $1.99 so it is cheaper.

This is just like asking, "What's the temperature in your town today?" It changes all the time.

Even if the gas was $1.50/gallon in my town, would you drive all the way to Maryland to fill up?

$2.649 for gasoline

$2.799 for diesel

Prices are northwest Pa.--4miles from NY. border.
$.05 cheaper in NY. where taxes are higher.
Could it be rip-off by another name. Like shortage?
I have seen prices change 4 times in a matter of hours.
Indian reservation prices are $.10 cheaper, but not
sure of getting a full gallon.
