RAIN???? What rain? No rain here and none in sight. Just heat, and way too hot for June. I survived the summer of '80 here and don't want to have to do that again.

I'm going out to the pasture today and do my Indian Rain Dance.....it can't hurt.

Do that dance for Denton County, too. We've had a very windy Spring, but now, as usual, 96 degrees this afternoon and not a whisper of a breeze; stiflying dead calm.

A little dance yesterday......and a little rain yesterday afternoon. Enough rain to cut the dust is all, but it cooled us off and felt real good. Had quite a bit of thunder and thought it was going to miss us, but it was nice to sit out on the deck and watch......rain is a spectator sport. Will have to do the dance this morning and hope for the best.

Unfortunately. I mowed yesterday morning, ran a couple of sprinklers 2 hours late yesterday evening, and I just now turned them on again. Sure hate to run the water bill up, but also hate to let my grass die.
