How is a 1998-2003ish Durango at towing?

I think you'll find it tows quite well it just likes gas. My wife and I had a 1998 we bought new in the 20+ years we been together she says it was her favorite. Our other tow vehicle is a 2500 4x4 with a cummins. It had the normal Dodge problems AC brakes clunk in the rearend. It got 10-12 mpg in town 16mpg on highway. Most we towed was a 4500 lb. boat just take it out of overdrive. enjoy

Well, my grandparents are going to sell their Caravan and we will probably buy that from them, for towing we will use my Volvo (for loads up to 1000#) or borrow the Dakota that my father in law is talking about getting.
I was hoping to avoid a minivan, but it looks to be unavoidable.
