Price Check How is this price???

My tractor search has expanded to another brand , AGCO

I stopped by and saw the AGCO ST 30X (same as MF 1230?)

The price for the tractor with an AGCO SL 44 FEL and Rhino SE5' brushhog was list 17,590 with a 1,600 package discount it came to 15,995 out the door.

This is a geared tractor with 28.4 Hp and 24.2 pto HP live PTO/ dual stage/ wet brakes

I think it compares favorably to the Deere 790 for about the same$$ in lift calacity and having the rear brakes, I saw thw Kubota 7800, nice with HST more $$$ and I liked the look and feel of the AGCO. The MF dealer wnats more for thesame machine in red so there out. NH dealer was less than helpful so there out as well. Now I have to go see the Kioti 3054 tomorrow.

I liked ther AGCO dealer, turned out we had a few friends in common, but what about he price??

No other AGCO dealer to compare to.

Hi,

I really like the Iseki's... real sleepers...

If you are planning on mostly/a lot brush hogging/mowing... I would only consider an Independent PTO... Not Live (dual clutch)... I used Live PTO for years and didn't know any better... once you go to Independent... you will never go backwards... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Also the more horsepower/torque you can afford for brush hogging... the better... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks, but the tractors I am considering are mostly live pto.

We'll see what I get, can't have everything /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I noticed the IPO with AGCO ST series starts with the ST35x... what is the difference in price between these two units...?
