How long did your original battery lasted?

I don't think OEM batteries exist in Kubota equipment. Dealer installs whatever they want. Could be good, could be cheap. When it's only got a 12 month prorated warranty, it's probably a hint

I don't know about other colors.

Well, on mine,the battery have a Kubota warning label, I really doubt that a dealer would go to the trouble to use an after-market battery and put a factory warning label on it.
My guess would be that all Kubota tractors come with a battery from the factory

with a solar battery charger connected to it.
The last 4 years the tractor has been inside my garage with a cheap Harborfreight ($5) float charger plugged to it.

These seem like two great ideas to me :thumbsup: Lead acid batteries last longer if they are kept at full charge.

My 2001 L3010 has the original battery still. I make sure that I use the block heater when it is below 10 degrees F (most of the time)

Mine has lasted a little over 8 years. I noticed that the glow plugs were staying on longer than they used to. Replaced battery yesterday and now the glow plugs come on and go off as quickly as they used to.

Ken I think you are right that dealers can install whatever they want (same with tires), but there are OEM batteries.
