My dealer had to order a B2320 direct from Kubota. He said it usually takes a couple of weeks. If any one had to go through this process recently how long did it actually take?

Looks like your anxiety is getting to you. If your dealer that has actual experience with his regional Kubota warehouse tells you a couple of weeks, you'd believe another buyer from somewhere else in the country over your dealer?  The wait gets to almost all of us. I've bought several that were not on the lot. The regional warehouse usually has regular scheduled deliveries to a specific dealer. If the tractor (Kubota) your buying is already assembled and at the regional warehouse then it will probably be on the next truck which your dealer would have a pretty good idea of when it's supposed to come (a couple of weeks).
I ordered a F3080 one time and it arrived at my dealer (Barlows) in a couple of weeks but it didn't have a seat which are sort of special on the F models and it took a couple more weeks just sitting at Barlows waiting on the seat to arrive. It was a bit frustrating for me but that's the world of Kubota delivering.:) Some times the projected delivery date was pretty long and Barlows has gotten me a new one from another dealer which , I think, may cost him a little bit so most dealers will want to get them from the warehouse to get maximum profit. Two weeks isn't to bad for me from here but it's a lot longer if your the one waiting for your machine.:D Then comes the 5 weeks waiting on the dealer to install the tires, FEL and final fluids.

That's the part that came as a surprise to me. Tractor was there at the dealer... but I couldn't have it for a few more weeks while they waited on parts from North Carolina (during the severe storms that closed the NC office).

I live in north Florida. The Kubota plants are close by in Georgia. It took one week from the time it was ordered for my L3560 to reach the dealer. Chassis, indirectly from Japan, on a beautiful custom steel pallet, tires and wheels, FEL and HD bucket all on one truck. The Kubota mechanic put the bits together and adjusted everything in two days.

The thing is, the salesman tells me one thing and then reality might tell me another. Trying to decide if I should put the post hole digger on the old tractor in case trees seedlings I ordered are all of a sudden ready, before I get the new tractor. I was wondering if they had regional warehouses full of whatever was needed at dealers. Two weeks kind of tells me they don't have too many warehouses around the country.
I'm used to the automotive industry where availability and scheduling is more precise.

The dealer I bought had the tractor but not the snow blower and rotary cutter , been waiting 3 weeks , still don't have it . I live about an hour from the dealer so he wants to bring everything at once . He keeps saying they are waiting for a complete truckload from the warehouse before they can get the shipment in .

Basically. no.

Most have one or maybe two US warehouses/distribution centers. John Deere has more, I believe.

I believe they do have several regional warehouses but the "full of inventory" is probably not true. Here in Ky the "stuff" comes from a Ga warehouse and I think there is a warehouse in Ohio so we sit between two warehouses. The Kubota factory is in Gainesville, Ga but I think the Ga warehouse is in Atlanta or Atlanta suburb. Maybe some dealers will chip in their knowledge about warehouses.

Kinda reminds me of the old Supt. talking to the purchasing agent "If I wanted it tomorrow, I would have ordered it yesterday". I know folks think these tractors should be like automobiles and have hundreds ready to go at the moments notice, but truth of the matter they just don't have that many available to go at a moments notice and freighting one from one dealer to another is not easily done like it is driving a car from one dealership to the next. If you needed a tractor April 1, should have ordered it in Feb.

When I ordered mine it was not on the lot. He said it would be about a week. Called 3 days later and said my tractor was ready but he didn't have any orange 6' BB. I could wait for one or get the tractor and get blade later when it came in. I said nothing else is going to match why should my BB and I picked it up. Still like my red blade. Lol
