The Kubota Corporation has been around a long time, but only introduced their tractors in this country 35 years ago. You can read their history at the link.
AS Bird said. they have been around for awhile but only inU.S for about 30years or so, would be interested in knowing the model and specifics of the tractor you are looking at, also the price asked.
dont know the model but ive been told its 40 years old, 2WD 3 cylinder, and in good working order
im gunna go see it some time
oh yea its £1000 including a woods RFM

i read the website nobull gave and it says the first kubota tractors were made in 1940
so it is possible that this tractor is 40years old then
but if it is it probably isnt a english model as kubota UK celebrate 25 years this year /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Well, actually, according to all the other manufactures, Kubota has been making tractors "too long". Yeah, Kubota hit a market that the others have had trouble catching up to. Good tractors.

Are you sure? According to the history site: "In 1960, Kubota designed the first compact agricultural tractor."
1940 may have been a typo. I doubt they wer building tractors in 1940. I suspect that they were building war machinery in 1940.
Kubota Europe it gives a list of tractors sold in Europe including the years they were sold. If you have the model number you might be able to determine the age from that site.
