How long since you bought shoes?

Wise thought. For best grade, you might call a podiatrist in your neighborhood who can recommend places where you can find Rockport and other properly designed shoes that fit.

Since everyone else is relating shoe problems . . . mine is two different sized (width) feet. I've finally given up and now buy two pairs at a time to get one pair that fits. Wish I could find someone who had narrower right/wider left in my size and who liked the same style, we could trade . . . . ah well. Hate poorly fitting shoes.

About every other year I'll stock up on shoes.

I've been wearing the same style for almost 20 years, Skechers with a lugged sole, 2 pair in black and 2 pair in brown and I'm good to go for another 2 years. Size 12 is pita to find, so when they are in stock, I stock up. When they get too scuffed up for the workplace, they turn into play shoes. Great arch support and amazingly comfortable.

For dressup, (3 - 4 times a year), I'll break down and wear a pair of Nunbush with a soft rubber sole.
