Thanks again guys. Got it resolved and feel dumber than a box of rocks when I figured it out.
Looks like I did a trans oil and hyd oil change at pretty close to the same time. Manual I have sucks, calls both hyd oil. (I get it, but still..)
After replacing the pump and no change I spent a bit more time chasing lines and realized the issue.
Topped up the hyd reservoir and - AMAZING! - everything lit back up as expected.
At least I have a spare pump now I guess. By its design, looks like that's a good idea anyway. Its got a little pocket that can gather/trap moisture and then rust. Old pump had a fair amount starting in that spot already and its only 5 yrs old and I always park it in the barn.
