I've had my Kubota bx2350 since 2005. Bought it brand new and have 2600 hrs on it. Living in Northern Montana we have a lot of temp changes throughout the year, so I change the engine oil every spring and clean and grease attachments after each use. The loader I grease as needed. I do a lot of snowplowing with back blade & loader bucket from -20 degrees to +30. I change the tranny fluid & filter at about every 500 hrs. I have no problem starting it in summer or winter. It stays outside year around. I use the block heater in the winter. I have replace both front tires is all. It has been the best purchase I have made. I don't know how long it will last but the engine still seems tight and I haven't noticed any power issues. If you take care and do routine maintenance it should last you a long time. I would prefer brand new but only 100 hrs or so, I would pull the dipstick on the engine and transmission and see how dirty it is and if there are any metal fragments on it. Check frame for any possible rusting. Look it over good or if your not sure and happen to have a mechanic friend, bring him along to look at it with you. Hope this helps and good luck.
