How many BX tractors get sold every year?

I know there are a few dealers lurking on this site. Does anybody have any idea of how many BX tractors are sold every year? When I picked up my BX23 at the dealer last week the shop supervisor made the comment that they " sell these by the containerload - we have hundreds out in the field". Which got me wondering - exactly how many of each of the BX models does Kubota actually sell? I know TBN has loads of people who have them but in my neck of the woods I haven't yet run across another person who has one of these tractors.

Don't know any numbers, but personally I know 4 people who have them locally, not including myself. It will be interesting to hear sales figures.

no one knows, we have sold over 200 since they came out.

I wondered if sales figures might not be hard to come by. So in a related question - do you know how many Kubota dealers there are in this country?

My BX 2200 got sold twice in one year. I bought it, put 75 hrs. on it and traded it in on another brand.

I just did a quick count of BX sold by our 5 stores since they first came out and the number was 225. With the $500.00 Customer Instant Rebate Kubota announced yesterday, that number should go up.

Easy way would be for people to post their tractor serial number and the month that they purchased the tractor. Since the tractors are serial numbered sequentially, we could come up with a approximation of the number of units built per month. The only variable would be if they use the same serial number system for all the BX series. Then we wouldn't know how many BX1500 are produced vs. BX22, etc.

That's a good idea....

My BX23 bought late June - delivered early July - of last year is SN# 60951 - it would be interesting to see what the serial is from somebody who just bought a tractor recently and from somebody who bought one a while ago - like a BX22 for instance /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
