How many hours on your L3400

1300 hours on my 2007 hst but it has been abuse quite a bit
-pto cable broke twice (changed the whole system wo/ a cable
-front axle leaked bu that isnt a real biggie
-no problems with the 3pt
-the piece that attaches the front wheel drive shaft from the back(under where the operator sits) has worn out twice now, cant figure out why though

I have been thinking about that. One thought I had is to do it with a linear actuator so I can turn the PTO on/off with a switch. I'd use a two pole switch so the other side could close the interlock. I did this on my fertilizer spreader. I'd like to see how you did yours.

315 hours on my 2006 DT. As far as repairs, I had to replace the Hydraulic suction hose, one turnbuckle for the 3PH and I have a hydro fluid sight glass ready to go in because mine is leaking. Still the original battery. I did bump up the hydraulic pressure to about 2650psi and haven't seen any problems because of it, but I also added the backhoe at around the same time, so I have plenty of ballast in addition to the loaded rear tires.

We use the Wallenstein skidding winch to harvest about 30 full cords of firewood to heat 3 homes every year. It's been a great tractor all in all. I plan on adding another tractor in the next year.

I dont have the 3400 but an '08 2800 dt and its done nothing but work and work hard, best equipment i have ever owned, only thing ive done is keep it greased and the fluids changed. Just turned 260 hours this weekend.
