Ive got 22 hours as of last nights mowing and Ive filled the tank once. sounds like yours is either running rich or you are running it flat out all the time. what rpm are you mowing at?

28 hrs now on CT225 and I use almost a gallon an hour while mowing in low range on hills with a RZ160 Bush Hog! Tractor is running great and seems to have plety of power. I will install my factory dual rear remote kit today.

I have 27 on my 235 and burned about 15 gals. so far. Mostly front end work cleaning up old torn down house debri and about 8 hours bushhog work. So far tractor seems to have plenty of power I hardly ever run it above 1800 rpm except to spin the PTO for bush hog work and that feels like too much.

Ive been doin a lot of hoe work as of late, I really need to get a PSI reading on my hydraulics. I suspect im down on PSI because of my lack of hydro power for loader and hoe. I dug up a stump and was trying to pick it up out of the hole and couldnt do it with the hoe or loader. I finally had to do it with my other diesel, 07 Duramax btw I didnt run out of power with it!!!:D Ha Ha

Sabertooth, Sorry work has me jumping right now. I have noticed that multiple hydraulic functions effect the power on my tractor. This is to be expected from a heavy somewhat low HP compact tractor. I was using my FEL to pull some posts that were cemented into the ground and was not real impressed with it. I noticed that sitting still my tractor will creep forward if the parking brake was not engaged. I put the hydrostat in neutral and seemed to get more out of the FEL. I adjusted the shuttle shift properly to resolve. My thinking is for you guys with power issues to look for any system controls that could be reducing the flow to the desired function of use, rear remote detent, shuttle adjustment ect. you can also buy a gauge and a QD male fitting and plug into the Loader or rear remote connection and watch the pressure at that point and the effects of the other functions on it. If a few of us do this we can establish some baseline data to evaluate our issues.
I have also used the Kioti forum for lots of info. I am happy with the power of my tractor but it does take some control coordination to make the most of it.
