How many of these are out in the wild? Any idea on overall numbers from Summit's side? I ask because they look to be fairly slow moving locally, so I am curious how many owners are out there and on this forum, especially since the traffic in this specific forum seems to move fairly slow? I was hoping to see a lot more videos, reviews, implement reviews, etc on various social media platforms, but there really isn't a whole lot out there aside from 2 or 3 channels - which is great, but more is certainly better.
I own mine either way, and I've decided to invest in your company, your vision, and your mission. So far it seems like a solid platform, but I do have a few questions.
1. What direction is the future of Summit headed - larger/smaller tractors? cabs? other tire options with mid mount mowers?
2. What is the plan with the App and is it working for anyone? If not, can you just direct the QR Code to this forum or your support email for registration - actually an initial email for registration would be an *excellent* start for the customer / CSR relationship development. It would be great to have a live person ask me how my delivery went, if anything was missing, or if I had any suggestions, as well as information about performing the initial 50hr services (because most 1st-time owners are clueless about it).
3. Why isn't there a discount on implement purchases with the sale of a new tractor like other manufacturers offer? I didn't buy anything extra with my TX25 - there was zero incentive and that is a missed opportunity. With my Kubota, I loaded up on a back blade, a box blade, and a mid mount mower, because they were $500 off at initial purchase.
You had a relationship with Good Works Tractors, but that seems to have gone away - which is a shame, because Courtney was putting out some good content. I was hoping to see him end up with a production unit and new content. There are only a small handful of other social media channels promoting and using your products - It would be great to see more. I nerd out on tractor content right before bed. Any plans in the works?
For anyone else who is hungry for content or on the fence for one of these, I've been engaging back and forth with Brad over at Piney Grove. Him and his wife are putting out some good content, and quite a bit features his TX25.
However, my usage and climate is a bit different than Brad's. I'm up in Michigan and deal with entirely different weather, including a lot of snow or frozen ground.
