if you want to go back, all you have to do is sign in with your old password.

And there might be the rub. Your old password might have been weak and was possibly compromised by whoever made the post in Tdog's name. Or not.

It may have been something as innocent as a "gift" that someone sent you or an application that you "signed up for" without knowing. For example, there is a fortune cookie thing that I see posted under friend's names all the time and I'm sure it is automatically generated and not posted by them.

But yes, it's a great tool for keeping in touch and for networking. Due diligence is prudent in any on line endeavor. Strengthen your passwords, research everything before signing up for it, and read some BEFORE you click.

Yeah, he was sitting right next to me at DARPA when the first marketing message went out.
Instead of taking credit for SPAM he took credit for the pipe. He was always a big picture sort of guy.

The question I have today, What does it mean, when I bring up the people the "like this" and beside the names it has a button that can be clicked by each one that says "Make Admin" . If I click that button what does that do? Ken Sweet

"Make Admin" makes them an administrator to your group. this gives them certain editing powers over the content of your particular group. I'd strongly advise against this option unless they're a trusted employee who you want updating information.
