How many of you park your tractor in a building?

Mine is sitting on the trailer ready to go to the remote property. It is out naked in the rain. It bothers me and I would be more than happy to park it inside if I had the option.

We have parked our tractor in a pole barn since it was new. Before the barn was erected we rented a storage barn to keep it high and dry. If you take care of your equipment, it will take care of you.

My 790 is in the garage (which is built into the basement). I leave it outside occasionally..especially if it's really muddied up.

Fortunately, when I had my Kubotas I also had a 40' x 60' shop building, so the tractor and all implements stayed inside on a concrete floor.

Since my Excursion does not fit in the garage, the tractor gets it's own bay. But right now it is under a tarp in the driveway because the glow plug controller is gone and it won't start. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I keep my Farmall and Kubota in a shed. My Kubota had sat outside before I got it. While it was in great shape excepting some paint fade, the tires were another story.
I got a nail in the side of one of the rear turfs. Had to throw them away even though they had tons of tread. The sidewalls were in terrible shape because of weather exposure.
Definitely worth keeping the tractor out of the weather, if for nothing else but those $250/ea tires...

Outside, under a tarp........
mine is in the garage. My Dakota PU sits in the drive.
