well after doing alot of reading on an actual search engine, I found atleast 4 posts from various sources that pretty much say Redz is a scam. companies pay for them to refer other people to their website, which is typical for most search engines. Most of what I have read leads me to believe they use bots to "generate" traffic to your website..

They point to the large amounts of traffic coming to his site from the search engine. I was contacted by RedZ to advertise with them. 15 cents per click through. I figured the most informed group of people I knew was the guys on this forum. I was right ! Thanks for the heads up. Ken Sweet

I'm glad to see inovation, trying something different. Good for them.
I didn't quite grasp the point of the 'pictures' which seem to be a screen capture of the found web sites. They are presented as being able to see only one, on a revolving dealie, and so it seems like I'm only presented one choice for my search - takes 10 clicks to see 10 results, and that is just counter-intuitive to trying to search for something.
Any more, all the search engines direct you to the best payoff for them; or are highly manipulated by outside forces trying to direct you to their web site. The search engines - not just this one - are of less and less value as these effects get stronger and stronger.
In this search engine, since you only get to really see one result, I really don't care to even try - if I search for 'water pump' they will direct me to the one page that has paid them the most. Not at all helpful to _me_! I suspect their reasoning with their format is with only one search result showing, they can charge a higher dollar for that one result.
But not picking on them especially; all search engines are trying to cash in, and the result is less and less worthwhile info.
I'm just not comfortable with the revolving web captures that don't seem to show me much at all, and don't allow me to easily pick the web page _I_ want to get to. I really didn't see any 'pictures' at all, just web screen captures too small to read? No point to that.

Let me add one more thing. There is a particular keyword for which we own the number one spot on google. It is a fairly specific keyword. We have been number one for a long time. Since the beginning of this year, we have seen 139 visits for this keyword from the "normal" search engines.
For the exact same phrase, redz has sent us 371 visits in the LAST 6 DAYS. Average time on site is 01:42, and it is 98% new visits. Is this even possible? Are there really that many people using this search engine?

I have never heard of it so I tried it. Slow and not good results for "hay grapple". Picture technology is not what I would use, I will stick with Google.

I am a big fan! RedZ works great on my iPad. It is sooo much better to use on a touch screen than Google. RedZ rocks!

They limit the Searches and give the Advertiser the TOP spot, NOT fair.
Reguardless what kind of Patent Redz have or Owned. Google's success is to give Users more choices and NOT limiting them.
