How Many RPMS do yall Run your MMM Decks on the 2320

I am running Around 2500 Rpms What does Manual Call For & what Do most You 2320 owners Run At Just Curious Give me some Feed Back ! Yes I got My 2320 Back & It is working now Like It should ! Yall take Care !The Gearbox Was shot at only 2.5 Hours It was bad From the factory ! But they Fixed it ! It was my 54D Deck !

There should be a yellow mark on your tachometer indicating the rated PTO RPM, that mark translates to 540rpm at the rear and 2100rpm on the mid PTO which is what you MMM is designed to run at for optimum performance.

I was wondering the same thing. I installed and test-ran my 62D over the weekend, and it sounded like it was going to take off for outer space at 1500 rpm. Can't wait to actually cut some grass with it.

LOL, installed mine and test tried it in the shop, yeah sounded like a jet engine spooling up and made a huge cloud of dust.
KV, run your tractor at 3 grand which is the rated PTO speed of 2100 on the MM.

I have 2210 and yes even on mine it sounds like it is going to take off. Scared the blank out of me the first time. I run at PTO speed on my tach

I have the 2305 and have found that if I run at 2500 to 2600 rpm in moderate grass, the fuel savings is significant. That is below rated speed.

the manual states to run the mower "at full speed", 3300 rpms on the tach. you will find that at 2500rpms the mower will be full of poop, run at full 3300 and you'll do a better job and have less build up under the mower.

I have the 2210/62C combo and always mow at WOT. RPM's run at or just about the little "PTO" mark on the tach.

My 62C is very whiney too. I switched to synthetic gear lube my first summer and that seemed to quiet it down a bit. 200+ hours mowing and it's still rather noisy though.
