How Many RPMS do yall Run your MMM Decks on the 2320

Yea that is one noisy mower. Only ran mine briefly last fall before winter, but I've now got ear protection hanging on my hazzard lights to be handy. I'm assuming that high speed translates into a good mow job.

I run at rated rpm when mowing and where the WorkTunes ear protectors with built in radio. Really makes the difference.

I bought a set of Worktunes online. The pair I got has a built in jack where I can plug in the IPOD. They work great, but I wish there was an added switch for the external jack. To use the jack, you have to turn on the radio, and use it with the headset volume knob all the way down. It's easy to forget to turn them off this way, and that runs the batteries down.

BTW, With my 2210 / 62C mmm, I usually engage the mower at a lower RPM then raise it to WOT (which on a 2210 IS PTO speed on the Tach). This is much kinder on the belts and engine.

Same here with my 54D and the 655 tiller. I start at lower RPM and ramp up to rated PTO RPM of 3000 on my 2320. Most FEL work I run the RPM at about 1800, I'm in no hurry to get things done, more time to get to use the 2320.

I believe the manual says to engage the PTO below 1800RPM, for front or back...
