how many shims behind the motor pulley

those of you that have replaced the motor on your troybilt tillers: do you remember how many shims you had to put behind the motor pulley?

You need to shim to line up the upper and lower pulley V grooves, it varies from engine to engine. Try the amount you had from the old engine and work from there. A short piece of steel rod or tube in the v will help you to see if it ligns up correctly.
