Anybody ever get a really stuck top link back loose and adjusting easily. Is there a trick to it or am I doomed to have a collection of stuck top links? I've tried heat and a months long soak in PB Blaster.

Try soaking in 50/50 mix diesel fuel and ATF.

By "center link", do you mean the Top Link of the three point hitch?

If you do mean Top Link do not let it make you crazy. Take your existing Top Link or its measurements to Tractor Supply or Agri Supply and buy a Category 2 replacement for less than $25.00

I coated the threads on my Kubota Top Link when new with anti-seize compound. Anti-seize did not help, however, when I bent the Top Link.

Xfaxman,
That soak might work. Thanks.

Jeff,
You are correct, I meant "top link". I constantly get that mixed up. I believe you've come up with the ultimate solition. :) Thank you.

Sometimes they can bend. Like if using a rear blade, and pushing in reverse (or backing into something with ANY attachment), and having it extended any length at all. Sometimes the bend is barley noticeable but enough they turn hard.

I've never come up against a rusted/stuck threaded bolt or rod that heat would not bust loose unless the threads are completely gone. Did you use an O/A torch?

Are you talking about the draft control spring assembly on the top link?

It could be bent. It doesn't take much of a bend to stop the threads from going in and out.

Unfortunately, I don't have an O/A torch handy. I used a homemade carbon arc torch with my Lincoln tombstone apparently I need more heat than it's putting out.

No Kid,
Just the top link. One end is stuck and won't screw in or out.
