How many stuck center links do you have?

I am still guessing its bent??

Can I ask how and what you use your tractor for?? And do you use any implements where you are putting force on the arms while driving backwards?? Like a rear blade spun around and grading in reverse?? or even a heavy bushhog and backing up an incline that forces the bushhog to raise??

OR is everything you do in the forward position??

IF you do anything in reverse that would cause a load on the 3PH, it is most likely bent.

Part of my routing maintenance is to squirt oil on the links as well as all ball joints and moving parts.
So far I never had anything rust up tight, somewhat messy for sure but better than alternatives IMHO.
Downside is being lubed some adjustments can loosen under vibration so I twist aluminum wire to retain settings. (Once last the barrel nut on my sway bar as a lesson)

Time to buy another link and address what is causing you to bend so many.

You guys who think the link is bent could well be right. I had no part in getting it stuck. It was like that when I bought the tractor. From the looks of things, the former owner excelled in driving into trees. Buying a new top link is no big deal but, I'm looking at this one as a challenge. I think I'll try to determine whether it's bent, then use a long lever and more heat.
