How many Zerk fittings on a BX25D?

I did not count them but I know after 20 mins of greasing everything this morning. I went back over everything and I missed the bottom swing cylinder.

Yeah found that one on round 2! Would love a map because I can't even remember the one's I already greased as I hunt and shoot. :confused3:

I think there is a Zerk Fairy that adds one each time you do a maintenance.

I pulled the 60" MMM off yesterday and could not believe the number of those things. I still can't figure out what one of them is for.

I could not find the one for the forward/reverse pedal. Is it hidden away somewhere? My Bota is a 2009 BX25.

Look for a U shaped tab on the mat covering the floor. (It's closer to the reverse pedal than the forward pedal, slightly to the inside near the hump.) It's not easy to see at all, kinda have to hunt for it. When you find it, lift the tab up and there will be a hole through the floor pan with the zerk below.

You don't need a service manual, unless the Operator's Manual has changed for the BX25.

I don't know if the new Operator's Manual has changed, but on my manual there actually is "maps", or diagrams, of the grease fittings.

Check and see if you have a "Maintenance of the Loader" section, and a "Maintenance of the Backhoe" section (toward the back of the manual.) In each of these sections there is a diagram under Lubrication that shows the locations of the zerks on the loader and backhoe respectively.

On the tractor itself, it shows the location of the speed control zerk in the "Every 50 hours" section.

The separate Operator's Manual for the mower deck (if you have that) shows the location of the grease fittings for that.

Thanks GolfAddict, I finally found a decent map locating the Zerks on the FEL and BH. Page 96 and 99 respectively in the BX25 Owners Manual. :licking:
