How much does a 4610SU weigh?

Does anyone know how much a Ford-New Holland 4610SU weighs? I looked it up on tractor data and they say a 4610 weighs 5000 pounds but has no weight for the 4610SU which I think is lighter.

The tires are not loaded and there is no other ballast.

Also, will it fit on a 6' wide trailer? They have no data on the width.

I am planning on buying one and need this info to determine how to get it home.

Depending on tire size, fitting that on a 6' wide trailer will be tight, or it probably won't fit. You may be able to bring the wheels in as far as possible but I am not sure if they will clear on a 6' trailer.

Weight wise it is probably about the same as any 4610, SU meant special utility which I believe consisted of a lighter duty swept front axle, different rear wheels , the hydraulics may be a bit different and maybe a few other things but for the most part that weight is probably pretty close. Whatever trailer you decide to use should be able to handle a heavier machine anyway.

Ask the owner how wide it is.... and if the tires are already set in.. etc.

Most SU's I've seen have either 16.9 x 24 or 14.9 x 28 rear tires. I would think it would be closer to the weight of a 3910 at 4500 lbs.

Thanks to everyone for their replies. I measured the tractor and it was 1/2" wider than my trailer. I bought the tractor and paid the seller to deliver it. I am headed to Alaska tonight for a while and I will post more on my purchase after I return.

Good call ont he seller delivery. Lotsa times owners have ways to move their own tractor.. and making a last delivery of it is a good way to part with it especially if the buyer is not setup to haul it yet.
