How much is your wireless phone bill??

I've had a cell phone for 30 years! The first one was screwed to the transmission "hump" in the truck and I could set to blow the horn when I got a call! :laughing:
Got it for my small business and our first baby was coming….. we moved to Nextel in the mid 90's. Nextel was fantastic!
The normal bill was around $1200 a month! Now just under $100 for 2 phones, no text, no data, and I forget the plan minutes but don't use it but once a day, maybe

As most things, it depends on your needs. When we went pheasant hunting in South Dakota, those of us with Verizon had no problems with service. Those on Sprint had little or no signal for most of the trip. So I guess if most of your time is spent near home (which most usually is) shop around. If you do a bit or travelling, then it is best to look closely at the coverage maps. In some of the hills is southern Ohio, most of us had some hit and miss coverage problems, but not a large area.

Using Verizon with 3 basic phones, unlimited text and 3 or 4 hundred shared talk minutes that rarely get used. That costs $105 with company discount. My oldest has an Android on Cricket (owned by ATT), unlimited talk/text and a few gig of 4G that dumps to 3G when you hit the max. I think he pays 40 a month. Cricket's plans get better with each added phone. I keep thinking about switching but then the wife and daughter would have to switch phones. They like their old crappy flip phones.

PagePlus, which uses the Verizon network. $2.50 a month, but you pay for calls by the minute out of the $10/ 120 day fee. Needless to say I rarely use it, but it is there if I need it, including data.

We're on some plan with T-mobile for 3 phones. Its unlimited talk and text, 1gig of LTE data that throttles to unlimited data at 3G speed after that. I bumped up one of the kid's lines to 3G of LTE. Its about $116 per month after all taxes and scams are added up.

I switched from Verizon to straight talk. I'm still using the Verizon cell towers and my service is great, and best of all, it's $45 a month for unlimited talk, text and data. I dumped Verizon because the cost kept going up until it was just ridiculous. Straight Talk has a bring your own phone program so you don't have to spend anything on a replacement unless you want a new phone.

$250 a month. 2 Samsung Galaxy s6, with blue and camo cases and glass screen protector. And have to pay them off. Along with fully unlimited talk and text and 12gig of data. We do alot of business and craigslist and would fill it the first month or 2 until we got wifi.

are you happy with the service?
so it's $45, per phone, each with 5 gig data if i am seeing the ads on tv right?
once my phones are paid off, my ATT plan will be just a hair over 100 a month, so it's not all that
large of a spread for our 2 phones on 5 gig plan..

I think its 5g of high speed, then its throttled to 2G. Note that 5g is 5 gigabits of data, and 2G refers to low speed technology, not gigabits. So, technically, you have unlimited data, but the first 5 gigbits of data you use are at high speed and anything after that is at low speed.
