I have a ford 4600 tractor (52 Hp at least that's what the book says). I want to buy a used plow for 10 acres or so per year garden and food plots. How much plow can I handle?? Any recommendations?? I would prefer to pull at least 3 bottoms. My soil is clay and rocky. Aslo what is determining factor when choosing board depth (14,15,16 inch)? fsa_tkilmer@sosbbs.com

You would match up good to a Ford 101 Series 3-14 bottom plow--You probably have 14X28 on you rear tires--so 3-12's would leave a little crimp in your furrows--If you go with 16 inch, a 2-16 will be plenty--Be sure to get the trip type for protection in those rocks--Ken Sweet
