How much should the 4310 50 hr service cost?

I have about 40 hrs on my 4310 -which I love- and I am shopping for a very slightly used Gator at my dealer.
So as a way to get him down a bit on the Gator price I was thinking of asking him to throw in my 50 hr service.

Trouble is I have no idea what they typically cost, nor what's supposed to be done as part of the service. What have you 4310ers paid?

Hmmm. I wouldn't think of treating my dealer that way. If the price is too high on a used item for me, I don't buy it, or I just give him the price I am willing to pay. I want to keep my dealer/salesman as a friend, and in the business, and making money so the doors stay open (for me!). Maybe I'm /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I'm not trying to swindle him, he IS a friend.

The way I look at it, it could be a win win situation. Say he throws in 10 dollars of service which really only cost him 8 dollars and I save 10 dollars in service for my tractor. All said and done he only came down $8 while I saved $10 and we're both happy.

Check your manual. That is where I found all the items when I did my 50hr service.

I just did my 50 hour service on my 4310. It cost me almost $200 just in parts for all the filters, hydraulic fluid and oil.

I paid $320 to dealer. No hydraulic oil, he said he owes me a fill.
Oil and fuel filter, easy
Air filter 2 elements, easy
Hydraulic filter, location makes it tough
Motor oil. I think it was a gallon he left me a quart
Checked all fluids on tractor and implements
Greased all zerks on tractor, MMM, MX5, tiller.
Owes me a blade sharpening on MMM
I showed him leaking battery.
I will do future ones after warrenty is ended.

I paid $178 for the 50 hour service. They changed all the oils and filters and even came to the farm to do it for me.

As I have said before, I consider my dealer a really great one, but on the other hand I expect them to make enough money to stay in business. When I see what others have paid, I think I got a great deal. Makes me value me dealer even more.
