How much snow did you move this year

we had about the same snow. i think it would have been fun even with a heated cab! it's a heck of a lot colder when yer not 30 anymore! :cold:

Over 100" so far....don't want to think about the volume, maybe this July when I am on my deck drinking pint sized containers!

I clear about 800 feet of driveway. The driveway is ~10' wide. Our average winter total is 89" (7.4').

800 x 10 x 7.4 = 59,200 cuft / 27 cuft per yard = 2,192.6 cubic yards per average winter.

That's 137 16-yard dump truck loads per winter.

A typical 6" snow is 148 yards, or 9 truck loads.

I'd much rather be moving something a little more permanent. :laughing:

74 inches at the house. 800 foot driveway plus clearing around 2 sheds and propane tank. Hardly any hand shoveling though.

Hope you are feeling better. Did you have open surgery or arthroscopic?

I moved enough to justify to the wife just why I bought a front mounted snow blower in the middle of July. I bought it two years ago and the wife was doubting its usefulness until this year! After some melting and such there is still 18" inches in the yard! Was as high as 28" a few weeks ago.
