MikeA . . . The Woods LRC60 is part of the Woods Estate Series implements that are specifically designed for the sub-compact class of tractors. Many people have used regular sized implements on their sub-compact tractors and found that they work, but that they encounter some inconveniences such as the inability to rotate the implement while attached to the tractor.
Woods equipment is generally considered to be one of the better made product lines. The cost of Woods products are typically higher.
As for the cost, lots of firms make cheap stuff. If you only occasionally use the piece then the cost for quality might not be worth it to you. I have some expensive implements and some cheap ones. The quality differences are striking. However, I will buy the cheaper unit if I don't expect to use it heavily or often. I do not like the trade offs with some cheaper implements, many are poorly designed and adjustments take tools instead of more convenient locking pins, etc.
