My problem is the 7 foot 3pt hoe, if he is doing enough work to bring the front up with the loader on, he will have a good chance breaking tractor in half or busting the 3pt mounts without the proper subframe going from hoe, to axle and then loader frame.

OK,,,,,YES i could ride around with a bucket full of gravel,,,but that's not always practical especially when you dig a hole with the hoe, then fill it in with the front bucket,,,,,at one time or another the bucket WILL be empty, in the mud the tractor tends to under steer.

What the manual says is of no consequence here, as far as I know I am not talking to Kubotas warranty department,,,,I have the Hoe running off the PB and not thru their $1300 valve. So it's done to their specs anywho

The 3 pt hoe serves my 1-5X yr needs and didn't cost $8k,

Since everyone is quoting the manual, PAGE 8 IN THE LOADER MANUAL SAYS THAT THE BALLAST SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THE TIRES WHEN THE BACKHOE IS INSTALLED

Put foam in the front tire and you wont get a flat and will add a little more weight than water.

The Kubota manual I have states to remove ballast from the "rear" tires when the backhoe is installed, which is common advise I think. Is your loader factory or another brand? If you have a generic manual details may be lacking. Regardless, it is your tractor do as you please. If you are determined to fill the front tires go for it.

Have a BX25. Ditto on not adding fluid. Not recommended due to the added pressure on the tire walls. I have a 3PT universal carrier with a 500# log strapped to it and I fill the FEL with wet dirt or sand if I need some counterbalance to the BH. If you remember your basic physics; as you put the weight further out it compounds the effect of the weight as a counterbalance. That is why FELs have a lot less lift than you would think. Much more effecient than adding the weight to the wheels, which you cannot get rid of easily. With my quick hoitch it only takes a few minutes to add and remove that rear weight.
