Before seeing this I would have said it was impossible to turn a tractor over on a flat lawn. I guess there is no limit to dumb.

When it comes to the limits of human stupidity, nothing is impossible. If someone can make it, someone can break it.

Here's another one, only this time someone is trying to climb a hill that is clearly too steep. Also, look at the guy who is sitting on the ground near the tractor as it attempts to climb the hill, he must have a death wish or something.

Here's another one, where someone is trying to load a tractor onto a trailer. It's an accident waiting to happen.

Seems the big tractor wouldn't have done any damage if it had been put in its lowest gear.

I'm not sure if having it in a lower gear would have helped.

Personally, I believe the heavy trailer that was attached to the back of the smaller tractor served as an anchor so when the larger tractor was pulling, something had to give. In this case, the smaller tractor was the weakest link.

When I bought my Deere 790 from a dealer in VA, they delivered the tractor on one of those tilt trailers. Seemed pretty safe...

In the video, notice how the trailer has no rails to stop the tractor from going over the front or sides, which nearly happens as he reaches the top and the tractor bounces because the steep angle has shifted the tractors center of gravity. In addition, the tractor has bad brakes making it a recipe for disaster. They got lucky.

In this case, it would have been much safer to have used a winch to pull the tractor onto the trailer. IMO

Yeah, a winch would have been safer with that old iron.
I don't recall if the trailer that dealer used had a winch, but the 790 was 4WD so that may have helped.

A 4x4 is typically heavier in the front so it probably helped a lot. Another alternative is that they may have backed the tractor onto the trailer before delivering it, something I forgot to mention in my previous post. It's always safer to back up a slope.
