I've been around diesels most of my working life, and have never seen it happen, or heard of it. But it seems like a persistent concern here. I have a old JD 950, and to choke off the machine from air would be a real project.
It's a totally mechanical system, are they safer or more prone to run-aways than solenoid machines?
