My old 2015 Kubota L3901 DT would regen every 15-20 hours, sometimes as little as 10 hours depending on what was being done for tasks. My new 2017 L3901 HST just turned over 46 hours today and hasn't even done it's first regen. The old DT L3901 would idle down a lot due to direction or gear shifts so I attribute a lot of regents to that. The new HST tractor has been run at a constant 2000-2500 RPMs since day one.

LS 3032, every 4 hours. Would not know it was in regen if not for the indicator light

Regens on my MX5800 vary from 6 to 20 hours depending on how hard I work the tractor. My new L6060 has 12 hours on the clock and the intellipanel shows the DPF is at 35%.

My new L4060 didn't Regen until 40 something hours the first time. Hit my 3rd Regen yesterday at 90ish hours.

My L3901 has 53 hours and if it regen'ed I never knew it but it's possible it did it according to some. I don't see the lights unless I look down at them which I don't do when I'm working. I do a short startup high idle and then rpms to PTO speed notch/mark on tach and never run it under that till I turn it off.

Wow! Some of you guys have regens a lot more often than I do. My 2014 L3560 has 300 hrs. on it and I just went thru my 4th regen. The dealer told me to be sure to push the auto-regen button every time I start the tractor to turn it on. It burns off the carbon while working. The newer Kubota's regen button automatically comes on when started so you don't have to turn it on manually. I asked if they could wire it like the new ones, but they said they couldn't. I find that hard to believe, but that's what they told me. Just run the tractor like **** and it will burn most of the carbon off while working, and when it does regen, I just up the RPM's and keep on working until it's done.

My L4701 did a regen at 35 hours. That was the first time I noticed it. The light is in the upper right hand corner and kind of hard to see in bright sunlight. I'm wondering if it has done it before and I just didn't notice. I really did not notice anything different while the regen was taking place. Only inconvenience is that it started about the time I was ready to stop for the day. So I just kept working the tractor for another 15 minutes or so until it was finished.

OK, I can now say mine regened and I knew it at 62 hours. I was working it last week and noticed a strange smell and it seemed like I felt more heat coming from the front direction of my tractor but nothing else. I looked at my dash and there was a light on at the upper right and stayed on for several minutes and then went off. I continued to work and have put at least another 10 hours on it since then.

My new LS XR4155 did the regeneration thing for the first time today at 28 hours, first thing I noticed was the indicator lights on the dash lighted up, couple minutes later a bunch of whitish smoke or steam Looking stuff blowing out in front for a minute or two, the indicator lights stayed on for probably about 10-15 minutes and then everything seemed to go back to normal. This was a new experience for me but the dealer had told me a little about it when he delivered the tractor, he said he gets lots of phone calls from new owners the first time it happens. Thankfully I had also done some reading about it after what he told me. So far my new tractor has never been worked very hard at all.

That tractor is now gone. I traded it with 175 hours and never knew when it regened again. I'm sure it did but I never knew when it did. I always ran it at the orange dot on RPMs indicating the 540 point. I do the same on my current MX54 which has about 35 hours the last time I looked and don't think it has regened yet. I let it idle, just like the L3901 for a couple minutes then ran it up to the orange dot/mark and kept it there until I was ready to turn it off. Do the same with the MX except I let it do a high idle for a couple minutes before shutting it off since it has a turbo and the manual says to in order to let the turbo spool down.
