If I'm not mistaken most if not all are made by MTD with a lot of re labeling taking place.
Frankly I'd be looking at the engine that is used and gauge of steel as the most important criteria.
Also whatever had more steel vs plastic would influence my choice. Steel can be welded/painted while plastic is only replaceable at $$.
A real frame vs bent tin would be my choice. (aka heavy duty)
example; a pal purchased a Huskverna blower and we later found the same unit labeled Toro at a box store.
