Starter not activating, jumped from purple wire connection on starter to red wire connector and got clicking but starter did not activate at all. Heard this meant a bad solenoid. Reading 12.75 volts at starter red wire post. Appreciate any suggestions.

First have your battery tested. It can have good voltage with not load and still fail a load test.
I just replaced both batteries on the 2030. They shoed over 12 volts but would not pass a load test.

Connect the voltmeter directly to the battery terminals and read the meter while turning the key to Start. If the voltage drops too low then the problem is the battery. If the voltage is good, then you need to read the voltage at the starter terminal while turning the key to Start. If it drops too low there then the problem is the cable. If the voltage is good there then I would check into the starter.
