Your right! You follow alone with the problem that someone is having, to find that they never said how or if they fixed it. All the one's that posted on it, ends up not finding out or learning anything . Hamor

I voted for the dikes and cutting it off. Hack saw blade held with vice grips. Your going to lose the hose doing it this way, but they sell new hoses. Changed a starter on a ford diesel during the winter. Parked over a ditch in order to get to it. Snow started to melt when the sun came out and guess where the water went.

Glad it worked out for you. You and we all got some 'education' for that problem in the future.
Probably not a bad idea to go over all connections, clamps, clasps and unions at some point - even though it's not called for in the manuals - to alleviate downtime or having to repair in adverse conditions. Good way to spend a couple hours getting to know our machines.
