That's the last thing I would want, anyways. About the time you show a weapon it better be real, and you better be willing to use it.

I tell my lady friend exactly that.
Only take that revolver out of your purse if you are prepared to use it!

I moved to Raleigh from a big city 40 years ago and very quickly I learned, if there was a murder, it made the news for days! I now live deep in the woods but get raleigh tv over the air. They now run the murders on the crawler at the bottom of the screen.

What seems to be becoming popular is drive by shootings, i guess gang related? Not much you can do about that except, keep your head down!

I know hundreds of "wife's". The notion of most of them carrying pistols is scary. Not your wife of course.

Well that’s exactly my point. Honest people protecting their property will have their guns confiscated. This has been promised!
So the criminals can steal without fear. When you hear a noise outside, no more need to fight back. Just go back to sleep.
Everyone will be happy!
